Crossroads Staffing is hiring an experienced Machinist with Swiss lathe expertise for a family owned CNC manufacturing shop. Join a quick paced team where precision and craftsmanship matter.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges
- Fit and assemble components to tight tolerances
- Maintain and calibrate equipment
- Document and report deviations
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 3–5 years machining experience, including Swiss lathe operation
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for long periods
- College/CEGEP or equivalent machining experience
- Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
- Proficient with CNC machines, micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Detail oriented, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Biweekly pay $25 to $37/hr depending on experience
- Overtime after 44 hours
