We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Service & Repair Foreman to lead a small two-person service team and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity on every service call and repair project. This role is ideal for someone who excels in diagnostics, hands-on repair work, and independent job-site decision-making.

What We Are Looking For Experience & Skills

- 5+ years of flat roofing experience (commercial/industrial required)
- Prior foreman or lead-hand experience is an asset
- Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, reports, and job specifications
- Solid knowledge of EPDM, TPO, Modified Bitumen, and BUR systems
- Experience in leak detection, troubleshooting, and repair procedures

Certifications & Requirements

- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Working at Heights (WAH) certification
- Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Site Coordination

- Lead and supervise one roofer/labourer during service and repair tasks
- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure safe and efficient work
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and productivity on every service call

Service & Repair Execution

- Diagnose roof leaks and deficiencies, determine repair needs, and execute repairs
- Perform small-scale roofing projects, patching, maintenance, and emergency calls




- Ensure work is completed according to specifications, safety standards, and best practices

Safety & Compliance

- Conduct safety checklists, vehicle circle checks, and toolbox talks
- Maintain a safe and organized job site at all times
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of PPE, tools, and equipment

Equipment & Technical Skills

- Operate and/or oversee equipment such as hot-air welders, robot welders, small tear-off tools, and repair equipment
- Ensure service truck and tools are kept clean, stocked, and in positive working order

Administration & Client Interaction

- Complete daily service documentation: timesheets, photos, repair reports, and progress summaries
- Communicate professionally with the office team, service manager, and clients
- Provide recommendations to improve roof performance or prevent future issues
