Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and functionality.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty equipment




- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrications, and inspections.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.

Work Conditions

This is a unionized position. The starting wage is $41.16 hourly as per the Collective Agreement.
