Position: Senior Surveyor

Job Description:
- Liaising with company personnel, subcontractors, vessel agents, and terminal agents to facilitate execution of orders
- Conducting draft surveys (and any other related surveys)
- Carrying out cargo surveys and hold inspections
- Witnessing sample preparation
- Advising the company and clients on job progress
- Handling samples and recording sample data
- Sampling bulk commodities
- Checking and verifying documentation received from the company or subcontractors to ensure accuracy
- Issuing reports and certificates
- Providing necessary documentation and samples to clients via email, fax, mail, or courier as required
- Assisting with miscellaneous duties

Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Draft Surveyor in ports




- Marine qualification
- Driver’s license
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail

Work location: Sept-Iles (G4R 0B3) - On the road

Terms of employment: Full-time -Permanent

Salary: 77,300 annually / 80 hours bi-weekly

Schedule: Flexible hours
