Job Overview

The Restaurant Host/Hostess is the first and last impression of the guest experience. You’ll greet guests with a warm smile, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating using a reservation system
- Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate seating needs with servers and management
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Monitor dining room flow and assist with table turnover as needed

Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment




- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., Tock) is a plus
- Adaptable availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment
