Avery HR is seeking a friendly and skilled Cashier/Customer Service Clerk to join our team located in Innisfil, Ontario.

Working in an outlet store, the successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, help customers choose products, and ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is organized, a good communicator, and enjoys helping customers find the right solutions. Experience in contractor, building materials or hardware sales is a definite asset.

Hours of operation are 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 7:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays. Flexibility to work within these hours is a must.

Duties

- Greet customers and help with product questions and selections
- Process POS transactions, handle cash, and take payments accurately
- Keep products organized and attractively displayed on the sales floor
- Explain store promotions, policies, and loyalty programs
- Handle customer questions and complaints professionally
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized,



and stocked
- Assist with inventory and restocking as needed
- Work with the team to help meet sales targets

Requirements

- Previous retail sales experience is required
- Excellent English communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashier procedures, and basic math
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

This position is not suitable for students.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
