Smythe LLP is seeking a collaborative and people-focused Senior Tax Manager – International Tax to join our growing Tax team in downtown Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex cross-border engagements, mentor high-performing teams, and play a key role in shaping the future of our International Tax practice — with a clear pathway to Partnership.

The Opportunity

In this leadership role, you will:

- Advise clients on complex international and cross-border tax matters
- Manage cross-boarder tax planning and compliance engagements
- Lead engagements involving EIFEL, FAPI, surplus calculations, foreign reporting, withholding tax, and treaty interpretation
- Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
- Mentor and develop team members
- Contribute to practice growth and business development initiatives

What You Bring

- CPA designation
- 5+ years of Canadian tax experience with a focus on international tax
- Strong technical knowledge and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset
