Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of menu items following established recipes and standards.
- Support food preparation tasks to ensure timely and efficient meal service during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Help with food plating and presentation to ensure dishes look appealing and meet quality expectations.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations to keep the environment safe for everyone.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent service delivery.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
- Strong understanding of serving standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
