Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Assist with food and beverage presentation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and are delivered promptly.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table setup, sanitation, and food handling procedures.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service skills by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology.
- Robust time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or related roles within the food industry is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
