Duties

- Safely operate a DZ-class commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring secure handling and proper placement of cargo
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for compliance and tracking purposes
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep the truck in optimal condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents or damage during transportation or loading activities

Experience

- Valid DZ license with proven experience in commercial driving within a freight or logistics environment
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment used for loading and unloading cargo
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods
- Basic automotive repair skills to diagnose minor mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation and freight transportation
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions
