The OV Burger Bar is excited to welcome a Line Cook to contribute to our mission of being the best burger bar in the community of Prince Rupert.
This role is all about the food - getting the most out of your product and creating delicious Burgers. You'll be asked to bring the best version of yourself each and every day, while developing your experience in the Back Of House (BOH) in our many stations. In this role, you will be creating food from our in-house designed recipes by following standards and procedures, to deliver a high quality product for our customers.
The right fit
The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience in the Back of House. Be able to meet a high volume demand while maintaining a high quality standard; preparation, sanitation, food product and operational flow. If you love continuous improvement, then this is the place for you! Our team members have a genuine passion and care for contributing towards a memorable customer experience.
The must haves
- 1 year of Back of House experience on the line, with hot foods.
- Ability to rise to the occasion by setting an example of hard work and attention to detail
- Follow established standards and procedures in creating a consistent food experience
- Assist in meal preparation and ingredient sourcing as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure service and timely meal delivery
- Exemplifies teamwork as a way to create a great work environment
- Positive communication and the ability to demonstrate positive qualities in a highly stressful team environment
- Maintain a high standard creating a clean and safe work environment
- Valid Food Safe Certification required
