At Smart-tek Communications our sales and technical installation team has over 50 years of industry experience specializing in design, sales, installation and service of CCTV, access control, intercom, security, structured cabling, wireless communication and Audio Visual systems.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Systems Integrators. Under supervision of the Senior Audio Visual Team Lead, you will be responsible for installing AV & communications infrastructure and devices, including electronic security systems, audio visual devices, control systems and wireless networking.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Installation (including pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) of electronic systems and devices; service and maintenance of such as required
- Provide customer with training for proper system usage,



and respond to technical inquiries
- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism
- Perform other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Preference will be given to those with experience with integrated security, network and audio visual systems, performing

installations and service

- Experience as a senior alarm technician will also be considered
- Able to work independently
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Posses own tools (drills, hand tools, multi-meters, terminating tools)
- Read and interpret electrical, architectural and signal flow drawings
- Working on commercial & residential (mid-high rise) sites following company and site health and safety regulations
- Robust interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use Windows or Mac iOS Platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent definite asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- AVIXA (CTS) or CEDIA certification considered an asset
- Customer Service/Stakeholder engagement considered an asset
- Programming knowledge or Savant, Control4, Lutron considered a definite asset
- On slab lift certification considered an asset
