The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing, serving, and selling food and beverage items at the snack bar while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting efficient food service operations.
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Service
- Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals according to company standards.
- Operate cash registers, process payments accurately, and provide correct change.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and answer customer questions as needed.
- Ensure timely service to guests, especially during peak periods.
Kitchen & Snack Bar Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Stock and replenish snack bar supplies, ingredients, and beverages as required.
- Assist with inventory management and monitor product levels.
- Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Customer Service & Teamwork
- Provide friendly, courteous, and qualified service to guests.
- Work collaboratively with other snack bar, lounge, and floor staff to support smooth operations.
- Support a positive and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous food service or cashier experience preferred.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to obtain and maintain an AGCO Gaming Assistant License.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
