We are not a traditional agency, and caregivers who join are not employees — you join the HaloCare platform as an independent service provider. Getting Started (Onboarding)

1. Create your profile and showcase your experience and the care you offer.

2. Complete your background check, including a criminal record check with vulnerable sector search.

3. Become available for bookings and start receiving requests from families seeking care.

What You Provide

- Companionship and personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

- Assistance with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.

- Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

- Errands, transportation, and appointment support as needed.

- Compassionate, respectful care that enhances each client's quality of life.

Qualifications & Expectations

- Genuine compassion and a commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect.

- Prior caregiving, PSW, home care aide, or personal care experience preferred (caregivers at all experience levels welcome).

- Robust communication skills and reliability.

- Ability to pass a criminal background check with vulnerable sector search.

- Legally eligible to work in Canada as an independent service provider.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation an asset for certain clients.
