We are looking for a House Cleaner to join our team in Ottawa. In this role, you will perform various cleaning and organizing duties, contributing to a clean and welcoming home environment for our clients. Your work will play an essential part in helping families maintain their homes.
Responsibilities
- Clean residential homes including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other assigned spaces
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop all floor surfaces
- Clean and sanitize toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and countertops
- Wash and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Make beds and change linens (if required)
- Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly
- Follow specific client instructions and special requests
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and thorough manner
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients’ homes and belongings
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
