Let Me Be Me Learning Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with diverse abilities through education, life-skills development, and behavioural intervention. Our team-based approach creates a supportive and inclusive environment for learners, families, and professionals.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated individual to join our team in a Full time or part-time Classroom Support role.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the implementation of classroom activities and individualized programs.
- Assist learners with daily living skills, including cooking and meal preparation.
- Support learners with personal hygiene as required.
- Participate in community outings (e.g., swimming, skating, hiking) to support experiential learning.
- Prepare classroom materials and activities as directed by the Classroom Lead.
- Document learner progress and contribute to team discussions.
- Promote a secure, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks alongside staff and learners.

Qualifications





- Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality protocols.
- Ability to respond proactively and flexibly to learner needs.
- Experience using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-directed and able to take initiative when required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Personal vehicle with $5 million liability insurance.
- Clean driver's abstract.

Assets (Preferred but Not Required)

- Valid First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of or proficiency in Sign Language.
