Job Type: Part-Time (Weekday Evenings & Weekends)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Ballet & Acro Dance Instructor to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Teach Ballet and Acro classes for children and youth (ages 3+).
- Create engaging, structured, and age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Foster a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.
- Help students develop strong technique, flexibility, strength, coordination, and confidence.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
- Prepare students for performances, examinations, or competitions when required.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching Ballet and Acro Dance.
- Solid knowledge of ballet technique and safe Acro progressions.
- Experience working with children of different age groups.
- Reliable, professional, and passionate about dance education.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Acrobatic Arts, ADAPT, RAD, or other relevant dance certifications are an asset.
- First Aid certification and a Criminal Record Check are an asset.
