Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Local Handy Person to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth operations across our manufacturing or facilities environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, electrical experience, and leadership skills to oversee maintenance tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general repairs.




- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance operations.

Requirements

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality standards.
