Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Summer Relief Pharmacist in Alberta to provide flexible, high-quality pharmaceutical services across various healthcare settings. Responsibilities

- Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
- Provide expert patient care, including medication counseling and education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and oversee medication administration procedures when required
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of pharmacy activities and patient interactions




- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety guidelines
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and medication storage
- Stay updated on new medications, medical terminology, and best practices in pharmacy care

Experience

- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Alberta
- Hospital experience or acute care experience is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Proven ability to deliver compassionate patient care in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling needs during the summer season
