Logixx is looking for a Casual Tactical Security Guard to join our team in London, Ontario. This is a Part-Time position working 15-20 hours weekly (Hours can change based on Operational Needs).

The incumbent will act as the first-line representative to all staff, customers, and clients. A major part of the role involves deterring and protecting the retail brand and staff. Must have previous Security Guard experience, Customer Service experience and be Professional in Appearance.

Duties:

- You will be responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities and information.
- Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity.
- Perform detailed and diligent patrols.
- Assess disturbances.
- Provide support in line management and crowd control
- Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Extensive patrolling
- Work with local police service
- Draft reports

Skills Required:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail oriented
- Ability to exercise vigilance and multi task is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic setting)
- Proficient in using technology
- Experience in proper search techniques.
- Ability to effectively generate all relevant shift reports and distribute in a timely manner
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English

The Ideal Candidate:

- Security Experience required - 1 year experience
- Must maintain Valid Provincial Security Guard License
- Reliable transportation
- Must have a G License with a clean drivers abstract
- Must be able to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays

One Temporary Full-Time Security Guard

- Schedule: Thursday to Sunday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

One Part-Time Security Guard

- Friday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Valid Full G Class driver's license, and to be at least 23 years old of age
