Igloo Transport is currently hiring experienced Long Haul Truck Drivers based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Job Responsibilities

- Operate tractor-trailers on long-haul routes throughout Canada and the United States
- Transport refrigerated and dry freight safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete driver logs and transportation documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding trip status and any issues
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 driver's licence (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 commercial driving experience
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Eligible to work in Canada. U.S. visa is preferred for cross-border routes.
- Experience with tractor-trailers; reefer experience is an asset
- Good communication skills in English
- Reliable, qualified,
