Relief Pharmacist (ASAP – September 1)
Relief Pharmacist for High-Volume Pharmacy
Location: 2.5 hrs west of Winnipeg.
Contract Duration: Immediate Start – September 1, 2026
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week | Extended daily shifts (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
Rate of Pay: $100 – $105 per hour

Role Overview
RPI Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Relief Pharmacist for an immediate contract covering a critical staffing period until September 1. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring a pharmacist who is proficient with HealthWatch (Hard) pharmacy software and thrives under pressure. You will be part of a structured, multi-shift team responsible for dispensing a significant volume of prescriptions daily.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions in a high-volume setting (500-600 Rx/weekday; 300-350 Rx/weekend)
Provide patient consultations and clinical services
Operate efficiently within the HealthWatch (Hard) pharmacy management system
Work collaboratively within a scheduled pharmacist overlap model and a sizable team of Pharmacy Assistants (PAs)
Maintain compliance with all provincial regulations and pharmacy standards
Shift & Team Structure
Daily Shift: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Pharmacist Overlap Schedule: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, and 2:00 PM-10:00 PM

Support Staff:
Weekdays: 9 Pharmacy Assistants (open to close)
Saturdays: 5 Pharmacy Assistants
Sundays: 4 Pharmacy Assistants




Mandatory Requirements
Current, Pharmacist license in the applicable province
Proven, recent experience with HealthWatch (Hard) software – This is a non-negotiable requirement
Minimum 3+ years of retail or community pharmacy experience
Demonstrated ability to manage high prescription volumes efficiently
Excellent stamina and ability to work long, demanding shifts
Robust teamwork and communication skills
