Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our Pediatric dental practice!
Hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri 730 - 330 pm (32 hours/week)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for front desk administration (answering phones, face to face with patients and managing the schedule), ensuring a welcoming workplace for families, and sending dental claims.
This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and supporting the overall efficiency of the dental office.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the office and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using electronic system, ensuring optimal patient flow.
- Answer the phone, and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain patient records accurately within Dentrix
- Process patient payments and insurance claims, assisting with any billing questions or concerns.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining an organized front desk area.
Skills
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in using Dentrix an asset
- understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in administrative duties.
