Alternative to Suspension - Teacher (2026-2027 school year)

We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and student-focused Teacher to join a specialized, contained 10-day Alternative to Suspension Program serving high school students with significant behavioral, social-emotional, and academic challenges.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To:

- Provide targeted academic and behavioral support to students who are temporarily unable to participate successfully in their regular school program due to social-emotional or behavioral challenges.

- Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated instruction that addresses students' individual learning needs, strengths, and areas for growth.

- Collaborate effectively with school teams,



families, and external partners to develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and support plans.

- Manage ongoing case coordination and communication, including participation in regular case conferences and maintaining strong connections with students' home schools.

- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development while facilitating successful reintegration into their home school or another educational setting in collaboration with the Special Education Technician.
