Personal Lines Insurance Advisor Opportunity - No. 5 Rd. Richmond Office

Job Summary

Johnston Meier Insurance Agencies Group has an opportunity in our No. 5 Rd. office in Richmond for a Personal Lines Advisor, to assist with our existing book of business. If you have at least one year of insurance office experience in personal lines, a General Insurance Level 2 License (or a Level 1 and willing to achieve a Level 2 license within 18 months), we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- New quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
- Provide renewal terms and optional quotes
- Update evaluators when necessary
- Coverage for Auto Insurance when required.
- Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
- Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Keep abeyances updated and current
- Accounts Receivable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

- Level 2 General Insurance License, or a Level 1 and working towards achieving Level 2 license within 18 months
- Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License preferred
- At least one year of insurance office experience in personal lines
- Ability to assist/cover Auto Insurance, as required
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers,



and team members
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Company Portal knowledge is an asset
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word & Excel

*Competitive salaries are evaluated based on the employee's education, skill set, license level, experience and hours worked. Scale above is based on full-time hours and is subject to change.
