You have hands-on experience in manufacturing as a Machine Operator and are looking to grow with a strong team. Join us as a Machine Operator Lead Hand in Scarborough and help bring materials to life in a workplace where health and safety always come first.

What you’ll do

As a Machine Operator Lead Hand, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.

Your day-to-day:

- Operate machinery while leading and supporting the production team
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure health & safety compliance
- Supervise production to meet quality and efficiency standards

- Plan and coordinate work based on production schedules
- Monitor output and adjust processes as needed




- Follow BRCGS procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Complete daily shift reports
- Build positive team relationships and address concerns promptly
- Support health & safety initiatives and troubleshoot production issues
- Take on additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Your strengths as a Machine Operator Lead Hand

You are a natural fit for this role if:

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and guide teams
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with employees and management
- Minimum of 5 years’ of manufacturing experience in Ontario, with at least 3 years in a Machine Operator or Lead Hand role.
- Knowledge of health and safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive engagement and gain buy-in for continuous improvement initiatives
