The Opportunity

Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Operation Supervisor of the assigned area, the Warehouse & Distribution Operator will be responsible for providing support to inventory, daily operations, assembly or replenishment task for Warehouse and Distribution Department. The position also needs to process and sort related tasks, invoices and documents for Warehouse and Distribution Department.

You Will

- Prepare receiving / shipping area and organize equipment
- Inbound / outbound transportation verification
- Load / unload goods by using safe lifting techniques, and pallet jacks with care and attention
- Check inbound product condition and receiving quantities and validate against bills of lading, ensuring product temperature abusing, discrepancies, shortages or damages are reported correctly and immediately
- Check description, pack-size, quality, shelf life of received product against PO with care and proceed with WMS receiving process to enter the inventory into system. Promptly report issues in this regards.
- Assist to put away received product into assigned storage locations by using a power pallet jack.
- Assist daily inventory check, storage location consolidation, and intra-building inventory transfer
- Assist other departments throughout the site when required
- Maintain warehouse working environment to pre-set sanitation and safety standards
- Carry out equipment daily safety check
- Carry out equipment battery daily maintenance
- Work in walk-in cooler/freezer as arranged/needed
- Perform other duties, as assigned

You Should Have / Be





- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with warehouse receiving
- Adaptable to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
- Have a good understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job and know how to interpret labels of merchandises
- Able to communicate in English and ability to speak Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset
- Able to follow and response to written and verbal instructions promptly and correctly
- Be prepared to stand long time and to hands on dealing with products and lifting of products of 60 lbs on a regular basis
- Possess knowledge in workplace health & safety
