Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and order accuracy
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in a restaurant setting
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while multitasking effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate order entry and cash handling
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
