Banquet Server – High Volume Events (800 Capacity, 4 Rooms)

Location: Banquet Hall
Position Type: Part-Time / Event-Based (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Reports To: Banquet Captain / Event Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced, hardworking, and friendly Banquet Servers to join our team for high-volume events. With a capacity of up to 800 guests across four rooms, this role requires energy, speed, and professionalism to deliver exceptional service during plated and buffet-style events.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional and courteous service to guests during events
- Serve plated meals efficiently, carrying large trays with up to 5 plates
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and guest service
- Set up and reset tables (linens, cutlery, glassware, napkins)
- Clear plates and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
- Follow event timelines and instructions as per BEO (Banquet Event Order)
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and team members
- Assist with event setup and post-event cleanup
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests

Requirements





- Previous banquet or high-volume serving experience is required
- Ability to carry large trays with 5 plated meals safely and efficiently
- Must be fast, active, and able to work in a busy setting
- Strong team player with a positive and professional attitude
- Friendly and customer-focused personality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday events
