About Landlord First LLP

Landlord First LLP is a growing law firm focused exclusively on representing landlords, property managers, housing providers, and real estate investors across Ontario.

Our firm assists clients with residential tenancy matters, Landlord and Tenant Board proceedings, lease enforcement, rent recovery, eviction applications, and strategic landlord advisory services.

We are seeking a licensed paralegal who is passionate about helping clients and enjoys building relationships, generating business, converting prospective clients into retained clients, and representing client in LTB related matters.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional file-handling role.

The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, conduct consultations, assess legal needs, explain our services, and help convert leads into retained clients.

You will work closely with the partners and legal team while taking ownership of client intake, business development, and relationship management initiatives.

This role is ideal for a licensed paralegal who enjoys sales, networking, client communication, and building long-term professional relationships.

Responsibilities

- Conduct consultations with prospective clients by phone, video conference, and in person
- Respond to inbound inquiries from landlords, property managers, and housing providers
- Qualify leads and identify client legal needs
- Explain Landlord First LLP's services and retainer process
- Convert consultations into retained matters
- Build relationships with property managers, real estate investors, and housing providers
- Develop referral relationships with industry professionals
- Attend networking events,



trade shows, and industry functions
- Maintain detailed records of client communications within the firm's CRM systems
- Assist with client onboarding and engagement processes
- Collaborate with lawyers and paralegals to ensure a seamless client experience
- Represent clients before the LTB
- Meet and exceed business development objectives

Qualifications

Required:

- Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with prospective clients and conducting consultations
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Professional, confident, and personable
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline

Preferred:

- Experience with landlord and tenant law
- Experience in a legal intake, sales, or business development role
- Existing relationships within the property management or real estate industry
- Familiarity with CRM or client management systems

Compensation

- Base salary: $70,000 – $100,000 annually
