We are a well-established heavy equipment dealership serving customers throughout Western Canada. We're looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly professional who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in accuracy and customer service.

This is much more than a traditional accounting clerk position. You'll be an important part of our administrative team, supporting accounting operations while serving as the welcoming face and voice of our company.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will include

- Full-cycle Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable and collections
- Bank deposits and payment processing
- Credit card reconciliations
- Account reconciliations
- Maintaining vendor and customer records
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Mail sorting
- Ordering office supplies
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Filing and maintaining electronic records
- Providing backup support for payroll during vacations or absences
- Assisting with other administrative and accounting duties as required

We're Looking for Someone Who:

- Has previous Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Is highly organized with excellent attention to detail




- Has strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Learns new software quickly
- Enjoys working with customers and fellow employees
- Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Is dependable, positive, and enjoys being part of a team

Experience in a heavy equipment, trucking, construction, or dealership environment would be considered an asset. Experience with dealership accounting software (DIS, or similar systems) is also an asset.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Reception or customer service experience
- Payroll experience is an asset but not required
