AR/AP Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities

- Record incoming and outgoing payments
- Contact customers for payment by phone and email
- Maintain meticulous records of outstanding and paid receivables and payables
- Match vendor invoices with corresponding PO’s/receiving documents/packing slips, and process invoices into an ERP system.
- Create schedule to best prioritize outgoing payments
- Communicate with various internal departments in order to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded
- Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping
- Other administrative and accounting tasks as required

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Accounting diploma or a degree with finance/accounting focus
- Must have experience in bookkeeping - at least 2 years of experience is an asset
- Budget and financial analysis experience is an asset
- Pursuing accounting of other finance designation is an asset
- Working knowledge of an ERP system
- Advanced computer and data analytics skills with proficient use of Excel




- Excellent organizational skills to meet time demands and multiple duties with a focus on teamwork
- Outstanding interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- AR/AP: 2 years (preferred)
- Finance: 2 years (preferred)
