Develop and deploy AI-based automation systems for robotic assembly, welding, and material handling lines.

Integrate computer vision for real-time defect detection, part verification, and surface inspection.

Collaborate with controls engineers to enhance existing PLC - robot communication for smarter decision-making.

Analyze production data (cycle times, scrap rates, downtime) to identify root causes and optimize line efficiency.

Build data pipelines connecting shopfloor (robots, PLCs, and sensors) to AI analytics platforms (Edge or Cloud).

Develop Power BI dashboards to visualize KPIs such as OEE, throughput, and quality trends.

Support continuous improvement initiatives with AI-assisted process tuning.

Implement predictive maintenance solutions using vibration, current, or temperature sensor data from robotic, compressor and other equipment.

Participate in internal audits (ITGC, MAFACT, IATF) and maintain accurate documentation and change management system/control.

Must comply with all ISO 14001 (Environmental)



and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety) systems and standards as it pertains to their work.

Performance Measurement Enhance product quality via real-time defect detection.

Optimize robotic workflows and material handling paths.

Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or a high-volume industrial automation environment.

Hands-on experience with PLC, industrial robots, IoT sensors

Proficiency with Ignition, SQL Programming, Python AI / ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and computer vision tools (OpenCV).

Experienced in implementing neural net based classifiers.

Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and reinforcement learning technics.

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT).

Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and process control principles.

Preferred Experience implementing AI vision systems for assembly and final inspection.

Background with predictive maintenance or industrial IoT.
