Role : Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Rate : $75-$85 per hour Location : Remote An established national organisation is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, accessibility, and performance of its critical business applications. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative technology team driving innovation, continuous improvement, and digital transformation initiatives that support employees, stakeholders, and members across the organisation. As the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across multiple technology projects and applications.
You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and accessibility guidelines. Developing detailed test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for software projects. Performing functional, regression, performance, usability, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts. Identifying, documenting, prioritising, and tracking software defects through resolution. Establishing and reporting on quality-related KPIs and metrics.
Conducting root cause analysis and recommending preventative actions. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve software issues. Recommending and implementing QA best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve overall product quality.
Mentoring team members and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. ~5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing environments. ~ Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. ~ Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, HP Quality Center, or similar platforms. ~ Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks. ~ Scripting or programming experience with Java and/or Python. ~ Strong knowledge of QA and UAT methodologies, testing strategies, and defect management processes. ~ Experience with accessibility testing standards and compliance requirements. ~ Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, and CSS. ~ Strong understanding of databases, data modelling, and data validation techniques. ~ Experience monitoring application performance and analysing web metrics. ~ Robust communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. ~ ISTQB or other QA certification is considered an asset. ~ Master's degree is considered an asset.
