APPLICATION DEV. OPS LEADER Internal Product Owner & Delivery Quality (LAB) · Montréal, QC · Full-Time, Permanent · 100% On-Site Is This Opportunity Right for You? Before reading further, ask yourself three questions. Your honest answers will tell you whether this is the right fit.

- ① Does your leadership show up at every stage of the development cycle?

The Lab

Leader isn't defined by a single project milestone: you own quality end-to-end across the SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment), set the standard every team follows, and interact with all internal and external stakeholders.

- ② Are you ready to take on responsibility for a team of developers spread across multiple engagements (both individually and collectively)? As the manager of all of SIA's developers, you coach, evaluate, and grow talent delivering across different studios, without being attached to any one studio yourself – all in collaboration with each of our studio leaders.
- ③ Can you balance product vision with team leadership? The role calls for evolving our internal products and tools (Agile+, MIRE, Common Sense) while providing technical and people leadership to developers across the entire software development lifecycle – all in collaboration with each of our SIA product managers. If you answered yes to all three, we want to hear from you. ABOUT SIA INNOVATIONS SIA Innovations is a boutique digital transformation consultancy operating at the forefront of AI and hybrid cloud adoption. We help medium and large organizations - across Quebec, Canada, and internationally - take advantage of IBM technologies (AI, agentic, cloud, cybersecurity, automation, blockchain, and more) to increase their agility. Based in the heart of downtown Montréal (with direct access to the Metro and REM), SIA also has offices in Toronto, Los Angeles, and Nassau, and works with major clients and public-sector organizations across Quebec, Ontario, the Caribbean, and the United States. THE ROLE As Lab Leader, you are responsible for SIA's LAB division and its internal products: Agile+, MIRE, and Common Sense.

Your mandate is threefold: evolve these tools so they create real value for our teams and clients, guarantee the delivery quality of all LAB development activities, and promote SIA’s LAB services to the marketplace and to IBM. This role is cross-cutting: you are not attached to any specific studio. Your influence extends across all of SIA's studios and delivery teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Your responsibilities are a direct expression of SIA's five core values. VALUE CREATION - Define and evolve the product vision for Agile+, Mire, and Common Sense

- Identify continuous-improvement opportunities across our development processes and tools
- Build and maintain a library of reusable components and best practices for the LAB
- Contribute to internal R&D; initiatives and SIA's intellectual property COMMITMENT TO CLIENTS - Ensure the quality standards defined for the LAB translate concretely into client deliverables
- Translate studio and client needs into clear priorities for the internal products' roadmap
- Document and communicate the LAB's quality standards and development processes SERVANT LEADERSHIP - Support development teams across all studios without direct hierarchical authority — through coaching and example

- Coach and guide the development team through the LAB's and the SDLC's evolution from "doing" to "thinking," notably through the adoption of agentic AI tools like IBM Bob
- Contribute actively to business development: demos, proposals, and RFPs showcasing our internal products, as well as promoting SIA online (social media presence) and in person (networking, events, volunteering)
- Help onboard new developers to the LAB's tools and practices SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES - Lead internal "Cool Stuff to Know" sessions on LAB products and best practices
- Maintain ongoing awareness of tools, methodologies, and technologies relevant to the LAB
- Contribute to solutions that are durable, robust, and well documented EMPOWERED TEAMS - Take full ownership of LAB outcomes, with autonomy over product and quality decisions
- Manage the full lifecycle of internal products: prioritization, delivery, continuous improvement
- Support studio teams in achieving their quality goals, without taking over their work THE CONSULTING ENVIRONMENT: WHAT TO EXPECT Rewards Expectations - Challenging and rewarding work with real impact: your decisions shape SIA products and influence client solutions.
- The opportunity to create value for high-profile private & public sector clients in a variety of industries & geographies, across all of SIA’s innovation studios.
- Significant autonomy over the vision and roadmap of SIA’s products and tools.
- The chance to work with leading-edge Ai and hybrid cloud tools and technologies for high performance.
- A dynamic and stimulating work environment based on Agile methodologies, diverse empowered teams and outstanding colleagues.
- The opportunity to work in a boutique IT consultancy and collaborate closely with IBM, one of the industry-leading enterprise technology companies.
- Accelerated growth and advancement.
- Excellent compensation, performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
- A blended work/life environment and culture.
- Continuous learning and personal growth.
- An opportunity to build your business/social networks and soft skills.
- Ability to influence project work without direct hierarchical authority, through credibility
- Ability to prioritize work across studios who may sometimes have conflicting needs.
- 100% on-site presence to stay close to studio teams.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prioritize your work and career.
- When working at client sites, adapt to the client's working hours and dress code as much as possible.
- Continuously invest in your personal growth (which will require time outside of regular business hours for keeping current, learning, networking, team building, client/partner events and other corporate social activities).
- Be prepared for irregular hours and occasional travel (with overnight stays) to accommodate client expectations and deadlines.

- Ensure that you have the personal agility to deal with unplanned needs; this comes with taking ownership over business outcomes (not output).
- Be "on call" and available in the event of client or project emergencies (yes, even while on vacation!).
- Plan vacations and time-off (maximum 2 consecutive weeks) during our summer and winter slow-down periods and outside of our blackout periods.
