Application Engineer

Location: Scarborough, ON

About the Role

Wilson Tool Canada is looking for an Application Engineer willing to grow into a role to support customers in cost estimating, design of various projects that deals with punching and stamping products

Responsibilities

· Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email.

· Prepare accurate quotations for standard and special tooling.

· Review engineering drawings and customer specifications to recommend appropriate tooling solutions.

· Provide technical support to customers

· Process customer orders and coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers.

· Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for tooling improvements and cost-effective solutions.

· Assist customers with tooling selection, troubleshooting, and application questions.





· Build robust relationships by delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:

· Engineering degree

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

· Experience preparing quotations and processing customer orders is an asset.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

· SolidWorks
