Overview

Duties

- Assist with the installation, alignment, and assembly of machinery and equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Support troubleshooting efforts by analyzing mechanical and electrical issues with guidance from experienced millwrights
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Learn to operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage electrical systems
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history
- Support welding, HVAC, boiler systems, and other mechanical tasks as part of ongoing training




- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to promote a safe work environment

Experience

- No prior qualified experience required; however, familiarity with industrial electrician work or mechanical systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of electrical experience, schematics reading, and mechanical knowledge preferred
- Exposure to industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments is advantageous
- Strong analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, welding techniques, boiler operation, or low voltage electrical work is beneficial but not mandatory
- Demonstrated customer service mindset to support team collaboration and operational efficiency
