As an Architectural Sheet Metal worker you'll get to build complex wall systems that provide an essential function for the building around them. Working collaboratively with other tradespeople, you'll find yourself on large commercial and industrial sites where you'll mix mathematics, problem solving and physical activity to complete each task.
Main Duties
Prepare, Repair, Fabricate and Install:
- metal roofs, wall assemblies, composite panels, exterior insulation
- membrane and waterproofing systems.
- various building envelope systems
- flashing, gutters, downspouts and louvers
Requirements
- Proven experience using power and hand tools to cut,
bend, shape and finish metal roofing, wall assemblies or complete building envelope systems.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to metal fabrication.
- Equipment set up , inspection and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols in a safety sensitive environment while working at heights in inclement weather.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to complete other duties as required.
- Valid Drivers License
- Communicate in English both verbally and written
- Architectural Sheet Metal Certification or Red Seal Sheet Metal Worker an asset
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
