Join PLASP Child Care Services as an Assistant Director for the After School Program at Homestead Public School in Brampton. This role focuses on creating a nurturing environment and fulfilling child care responsibilities in a high-quality educational setting. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director who will report on program operations and engage with children through stimulating activities.

Your expertise in early childhood education will help develop programs that align with the Child Care Early Years Act and promote children’s overall well-being. This part-time position involves 3.5 hours daily, working collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe, engaging atmosphere for the children. Key Responsibilities:

- Create a secure and caring environment for children




- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Assist in food ordering and preparation
- Manage administrative tasks in the Director’s absence
- Ensure compliance with CCEYA and Ministry of Education standards Requirements:
- ECE degree or equivalent with RECE registration
- Minimum 2 years of child care experience
- Knowledge of CCEYA and licensing requirements
- Valid Standard First Aid with CPR
