Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our vibrant retail team. This role is pivotal in supporting store operations, driving sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. As an energetic leader, you will assist in managing daily store functions, supervising staff, and implementing strategies that promote growth and efficiency.

Duties

- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, merchandising, and customer service excellence




- Lead and supervise team members to ensure high performance, motivating staff through training and development initiatives
- Assist with recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities
- Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations to ensure accuracy and security
- Coordinate marketing efforts within the store to boost visibility and attract customers
- Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operational flow

Experience

- Proven supervisory experience in retail or a related customer-focused environment
- Strong background in retail sales management, team leadership, and store operations
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle vendor relations and purchasing negotiations effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, training & development, and performance management
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising principles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced setting
