Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our retail team! Responsibilities

-Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales management, inventory control, and staff scheduling

-Lead and supervise a team of retail associates, fostering a positive work environment through coaching, training, and development

-Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently

-Manage merchandising efforts to optimize product displays, pricing strategies, and promotional activities

-Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations with accuracy and integrity

-Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members

-Maintain administrative records such as sales reports, payroll documentation, bookkeeping entries, and inventory logs

Requirements

-Proven supervisory or team management experience within a retail workplace





-Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence

-Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively

-Knowledge of payroll processing, budgeting, and basic bookkeeping practices

-Familiarity with merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and POS systems

-Excellent communication skills coupled with phone etiquette and organizational prowess

-Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on training & development and time management

-Ability to handle cash accurately, perform cash handling duties confidently, and maintain high standards of store cleanliness and safety

-Multilingual skills are a plus for engaging with diverse clientele effectively

Pay: $17.60-$34.01 per hour
