About The Opportunity

We’re hiring a dependable, motivated Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and help lead a high-performing store team. If you’re a strong communicator, enjoy coaching others, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role offers excellent opportunities to grow your retail leadership career.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Support

Assist with supervising, coaching, and training staff

Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management

Help promote a positive, engaged team culture

Store Operations

Support daily store operations, including opening and closing duties

Manage store communication (email, updates, task assignments)

Work closely with the Store Manager on staffing, operational needs, and sales goals

Customer Service & Compliance

Check ID and ensure all alcohol sales meet Alberta regulations

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment

Inventory & Financial Support

Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and receiving

Review reports and documentation for accuracy

Help support store financial targets and controllables

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of retail experience

2+ years in a supervisory role

ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain)





Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift

Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
