This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills across routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and data center technologies while working alongside experienced network engineers.
Position Summary
We are seeking an Associate Network Engineer to join our Network Infrastructure team in Markham. This is a hands-on role responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of networking experience, strong foundational knowledge of routing and switching, and a willingness to learn new technologies in a rapid-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and related equipment.
- Support LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and data center networking environments.
- Monitor network performance and assist with incident resolution and problem management.
- Troubleshoot Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 connectivity issues.
- Perform hardware deployments, rack-and-stack activities, cabling, and equipment replacements.
- Assist with network upgrades,
infrastructure projects, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with senior engineers, vendors, and cross-functional IT teams to support business operations.
- Participate in change management and maintenance activities as required.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of networking experience, including internships, co-op programs, or entry-level network support roles.
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent education in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking fundamentals.
- Basic experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to perform hands-on hardware installation and support.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA certification or actively pursuing CCNA.
- Exposure to SD-WAN technologies.
- Experience with enterprise wireless networks.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure and network monitoring tools.
- Home lab, internship, or project experience demonstrating networking knowledge.

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
