AprilVets

Fredericton

AprilVets' experienced veterinary team is growing, and we are seeking a passionate associate veterinarian to join us.

Company Overview

AprilVets Fredericton is an innovative small animal hospital dedicated to creating an elevated healthcare experience for our vet team, clients, and patients. As an independent, veterinary-led clinic, we are looking to foster long-term relationships with our team members. Our clinic boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every pet, client, and team member feels valued.

Facility and Culture

Since opening our doors, AprilVets Fredericton has become a trusted part of this vibrant community.

Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility was thoughtfully designed to feel welcoming, warm, and bright for our team, our clients, and their beloved pets — and nearly a year in, that is exactly the atmosphere our clients tell us they experience. We have built a supportive and collaborative workplace that prioritizes professional and personal growth, where your ideas are valued, and where we deliver exceptional care and a positive experience for pets and their owners.

Opportunity The response from the Fredericton community has been wonderful. Our client base has grown steadily over our first year, and we are now adding an associate veterinarian to our team so that we can continue to give every patient the time and attention they deserve. This is a growth hire, not a backfill — you would be joining an established practice with an existing caseload, a proven team, and workflows that already work.

You will practise medicine the way you were trained to — with appointment times that allow for thorough workups, a skilled RVT support team handling technical duties, and the autonomy to build your own caseload and areas of interest. Adding a veterinarian also means a more sustainable schedule for everyone on the team.

This is a full-time position for a licensed Associate Veterinarian. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to apply but an experienced veterinarian is preferred.
