Job Title: Senior Ansible Automation Engineer(Automation Solution Consultant - Senior)

Location: Toronto, ON (Remote – 4 p.m. and 12:00 am EST shift (preference))

Duration: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ansible Automation Engineer to lead enterprise automation initiatives across Windows and Linux infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building scalable automation solutions, reducing manual operations, and improving security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Skills:

✔️ 7+ years of hands-on Ansible Automation in production environments

✔️ 7+ years of Windows Server Administration (2012/2019/2022)

✔️ 7+ years of PowerShell scripting (Windows automation)

✔️ 7+ years of Bash/Shell scripting (Linux automation)

✔️ 7+ years of Enterprise Linux Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent)

✔️ Solid experience with Git , YAML , and Infrastructure Automation

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks.
- Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, compliance, and operational workflows.
- Implement automated patch lifecycle management using SCCM APIs , WSUS , ADR , and PowerShell .




- Build approval-based deployment pipelines across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
- Integrate automation with enterprise monitoring tools and ServiceNow using REST APIs.
- Administer and support Windows Server and Enterprise Linux environments.
- Implement configuration enforcement, security hardening, and automated remediation.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to drive automation-first practices.
- Mentor technical teams and promote enterprise automation standards.

Preferred Skills: ✔️ Ansible Automation Platform, AWX, or Ansible Tower

✔️ Microsoft Azure or Hybrid Cloud environments

✔️ VMware or Hyper-V virtualization

✔️ Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise networking

✔️ CIS hardening, compliance automation, and ITIL environments

✔️ Public Sector experience (preferred)

Preferred Certifications:

- Red Hat Ansible Automation Certification
- RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)
- Microsoft Windows Server or Azure Certifications
- ITIL Foundation
