Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair options, estimate costs, and outline recommended maintenance to customers clearly and confidently
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services
- Upsell additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance and safety while aligning with customer needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain detailed records of all financial dealings
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns
- Maintain detailed documentation of vehicle repairs, service history, and customer interactions for seamless communication
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive service advising preferred
- Mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or related training is highly advantageous
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Demonstrated sales aptitude with a knack for upselling services in a consultative manner
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, parts, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- A proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
