Role Description The Automotive Service Advisor is a full time, on-site role based in Saskatchewan, Canada. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service and repair, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, listening to and documenting concerns, creating service work orders, and explaining recommended maintenance and repairs in clear, accessible language.
The Service
Advisor coordinates with technicians,
monitors repair progress, provides updates, and ensures accurate billing and documentation. The role also involves reviewing vehicle inspection results, promoting appropriate services, scheduling future appointments, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and dealership professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and clear Communication.
- Understanding of Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive Repair principles to effectively explain services and recommendations.
- Previous experience in an automotive service environment or dealership setting is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple service appointments, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with service management software, basic computer applications, and accurate data entry.
- Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and commitment to safety and compliance standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or customer service training or certifications are an asset.
