Automotive Technician The Wheel Deal Auto Service - Nepean, ON

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (occasional extra hours as needed) Location: 39 Cleopatra Dr, Nepean, ON - in person

Job Summary We're looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at The Wheel Deal! In this hands-on role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, helping our customers get back on the road safely and confidently. This is a great opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced, supportive shop where quality work is recognized and rewarded.

Open to all experience levels - apprentices working toward their 310S, recently licensed techs, and experienced technicians are all encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues across a range of makes and models using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
- Perform maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, and electrical troubleshooting
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs with precision




- Accurately document repairs, parts used, and work orders (Shopmonkey)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate clearly with the team and, where needed, explain repairs to customers

Requirements:

- 310S license, or actively working toward it (apprentices welcome)
- Automotive technician experience: any amount considered, more is an asset
- Own tools (or working toward a full set)
- Valid G license
- Strong attention to detail and diagnostic ability
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
