AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Specialist

PipeCom is looking for experienced SCADA professionals with hands-on expertise in AVEVA Enterprise SCADA, formerly known as OASyS DNA .

The successful candidate will support the configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and operation of mission-critical SCADA systems used within the oil and gas pipeline industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot AVEVA Enterprise SCADA/OASyS systems.
- Develop and modify SCADA databases, displays, reports, calculations, and application logic.
- Support system upgrades, migrations, testing, commissioning, and production deployments.
- Investigate system issues and provide timely operational and technical support.
- Work with control room, operations, engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, test procedures, implementation plans, and support runbooks.
- Participate in change management, incident management, and system improvement activities.

Required Experience

- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA or OASyS DNA.
- Experience supporting SCADA systems within pipelines, midstream, utilities, or other critical infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of SCADA databases, communications, alarming, historical data, displays, and system architecture.
- Experience with SCADA testing, troubleshooting, implementation, or commissioning.




- Robust communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed technical and operational teams.

Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:

- AVEVA Enterprise SCADA 2024 or 2025
- Pipeline operations and control-room environments
- HMI display development and API 1165 principles
- RTU and PLC communications
- OPC, Modbus, DNP3, or other industrial protocols
- Windows Server, virtualization, networking, or cybersecurity
- CygNet, Ignition, System Platform, or other industrial automation platforms
