Job Role: AWS AI Developer with strong Python

Toronto, ON-Mostly remote, 1 day per week in office

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AI Developer with 8+ years of experience to join a Corporate IT AI team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, AWS AI services, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI orchestration frameworks. This role focuses on designing and developing scalable AI solutions, building AI workflows, and implementing modern AI applications using cloud-native technologies .

Required Skills:

- 8+ years of experience in software development with strong Python programming.
- Hands-on experience building scalable Python applications, scripting, and automation.
- Strong SQL skills and experience designing and developing data pipelines for AI workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AWS AI and Machine Learning services, including:
- Amazon Bedrock
- Amazon SageMaker
- Amazon S3
- AWS Lambda
- AWS Glue
- Other AWS AI and ML services
- Solid hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) .
- Strong hands-on experience with Agentic AI development.
- Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Experience with AI agent frameworks and orchestration tools, including:
- LangChain
- LangGraph
- Strands
- Similar AI orchestration frameworks




- Experience designing AI workflows and integrating AI services into enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

- Develop scalable AI applications using Python and AWS cloud services.
- Design and build AI workflows, automation, and data pipelines.
- Develop and deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
- Implement RAG-based applications and AI-powered enterprise solutions.
- Build and maintain AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, Strands, and related frameworks.
- Integrate AWS AI services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and Glue into AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy AI applications.
- Optimize AI models, workflows, and application performance following industry best practices.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with Machine Learning model development, training, and deployment.
- Experience with additional AWS AI and ML services.
- Knowledge of enterprise AI architecture and cloud-native application design.
- Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance for onsite roles (Candidates with continuous residency in Canada for the last 5 years are preferred).
